We recently found out that Leeds City Council were looking for some tenders to undertake a library refurbishment in Leeds. Seeing this as a fantastic opportunity to not only take on a new project, but also to work on something that is incredibly rewarding and worthwhile, we decided that being a part of this tender process was something that we just had to follow up.
Working with the council we formed a part of the tender process. Showcasing to them exactly what we could do and the benefits of choosing our particular service over the others out there. Glass Doors Glazed Screens and Suspended Ceiling
Our plan for this particular refurbishment was to build solid partitioning throughout, with a suspended ceiling and glass screens. Not only this, but we planned to install glass doors and all related joinery throughout the space too.
We felt that this particular approach would allow for an open and light space to be created. Somewhere that people would want to spend time.
To ensure that the interior of the building was going to be fit for purpose, we installed solid partitioning and toughened, safety glass, in order to keep all those visitors safe and ensure that we didn’t lose any of the style that we hoped to put in place within the library.
After finishing the installation we were incredibly impressed with the results. Not only was it exactly what we hoped it would be, but we also managed to achieve what the client wanted too. This is something that we take great pride in being able to do. No matter the client it is that we work with.
