We recently completed the installation of acoustic single-glazed partitions for our existing client, EMR, at their head office located in Warrington. EMR is a metal recycling company that offers a wide range of services for recycling ferrous and non-ferrous metals, ensuring sustainable practices and environmental responsibility. The project was designed to create modern, functional office spaces while maintaining excellent acoustic performance and a clean, contemporary appearance.
Acoustic Single Glazed Partitions in Warrington
The installation comprised approximately 70 linear metres of single-glazed acoustic partitions across two floors of the building. The partitioning system featured 12.8mm clear acoustic laminated glass, providing effective sound reduction while allowing natural light to flow freely throughout the workspace. To complement the modern design, all partition frames were manufactured from aluminium finished in Black RAL 9005, delivering a sleek and professional aesthetic that integrates seamlessly with the existing office environment.
As part of the project for EMR, we installed 14 framed single-glazed doors, each fitted with hydraulic hold-open hinges for smooth, controlled operation and enhanced user convenience. Every door was completed with 600mm black RAL 9005 pull handles, matching the aluminium framing for a consistent, high-quality finish.
Safety and compliance were also important aspects of the installation. Each glazed panel featured a glass manifestation consisting of two rows of 50mm dots, ensuring the partitions remain highly visible while preserving the open and minimalist design.
