Glass Office Wall Harrogate
The project involved the supply and installation of a frameless single-glazed partitioning wall, creating a clean and contemporary division within the existing space. The partition was constructed using 30mm aluminium frames finished in black, RAL 9005, providing a modern and understated appearance. The glazing consisted of 10mm clear toughened safety glass, with the partition reaching a height of 2400mm.
A full-height frameless glass door was incorporated into the partition, maintaining the minimalist appearance of the overall installation. The door was fitted with top and bottom hydraulic patch fittings to provide smooth and controlled opening and closing.
The door was completed with 600mm pull handles and was supplied without locking hardware. The installation was also non-fire-rated, in keeping with the requirements of the project.
For safety and visibility, DDA manifestation was applied to the glass. This consisted of two rows of 50mm dots, providing a clear visual indication of the glazed partition and door. The combination of clear toughened glass, black aluminium framing and a full-height frameless door provides a practical and modern solution while allowing light and visibility to pass through the newly created space.
