Double Glass Partitions for Grimsby Institute

Grimsby Institute of Further & Higher Education and the University Centre Grimsby is a college in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, England.

We have successfully completed several glass partitioning projects for the Grimsby Institute over the past few years, and we were pleased to be appointed once again to deliver a bespoke glass partitioning solution for this latest project.

For this project, the client requested double-glazed partitions with framed glass doors, fitted into aluminium channels finished in Anthracite RAL 7016. The specification provides a contemporary and professional appearance while supporting the practical requirements of the educational environment.

We created two separate rooms by installing front glazed elevations with two single doors, together with a dividing glazed wall. This configuration provides clearly defined spaces while retaining the open and spacious feel associated with glazed partitioning. To provide additional privacy, we also applied a frosted privacy band to the glass. This offers visual separation while allowing natural light to continue to pass through the glazed areas.
