Internal Sliding Doors with Glass in Twickenham, London
We recently completed a new residential glass installation at a property in Twickenham, London. The project involved installing sliding glass double doors with side panels to enclose a playroom within the home.
Project Summary:
The aim of the installation was to create a separate playroom while keeping the area bright and connected to the rest of the house. The use of clear glass allows natural light to pass through and means the playroom can still be seen from the surrounding areas.
The installation consists of top-hung sliding double doors, along with fixed glass side panels to complete the enclosure. The doors slide open and closed smoothly, providing an easy way to access the playroom without taking up additional floor space.
The glazing is made from 10mm clear toughened glass, providing a strong and practical solution for a busy family home. The clear glass also helps maintain an open feel between the playroom and the surrounding living space.
The glass has been fitted with silver aluminium frames, giving the installation a simple and clean appearance. The silver finish works well within the residential setting and provides a neat frame around the clear glazing.
Pull handles have also been fitted to the sliding doors, making them easy to operate and providing a simple finish to the overall installation.
