Soundproof Glass Office Partitions in Bath

At In Out Solutions, we recently completed a Soundproof Glass Office Partitions in Bath for Delphi Accounting. The project involved creating four individual offices that Delphi Accounting will be able to lease to their clients, providing each business with its own professional and private working environment.

The brief was to create modern office spaces that would look attractive while also providing a strong level of acoustic separation. With different clients using the offices, privacy and noise control were particularly important considerations. To achieve this, we installed a 98mm double glazed acoustic partitioning system, including double glazed glass doors.

When creating offices for multiple businesses, it is important that the partitioning provides suitable acoustic performance. Conversations and general office noise can easily travel between rooms when the wrong type of partitioning is used, which can affect privacy and concentration. For the Delphi Accounting project, we used a 98mm double glazed system incorporating 12.8mm + 10.8mm acoustic laminated glass. This specification was selected to provide enhanced acoustic separation between the four offices while still allowing the benefits of a modern glazed partitioning system.

The glass doors were also double glazed, helping maintain the acoustic performance of the overall partition system rather than creating a weaker point between each office. This provides a consistent solution throughout the installation and helps ensure that each individual office can be used as a separate and more private working environment.

The main objective of the project was to divide the available space into four individual offices that could be leased to Delphi Accounting’s clients. Glass partitioning was an ideal solution because it allowed the offices to be separated while retaining a feeling of openness throughout the wider space. Unlike traditional solid walls, the glazed screens allow natural light to pass between the different areas, helping the offices feel bright, spacious and contemporary.

To complement the overall design, the partition frames were finished in black RAL 9005. Black-framed glass partitions have become increasingly popular within modern commercial interiors, offering a strong architectural appearance while maintaining the clean and contemporary look of glass. The black framing provides a clear definition between each of the four offices and creates a consistent appearance throughout the installation.

A frosted band was also applied across the middle of the glass screens. This provides an additional element of visual privacy while making the glazed panels more noticeable to people moving through the office. Frosted manifestation can be a practical addition to glass partitioning in busy commercial environments, providing a clear visual marker across the glazing while adding a simple decorative finish.

The four offices were also fitted with double glazed glass doors to provide access to each individual workspace. Using double glazed doors alongside the double glazed partitioning helps maintain a consistent appearance and acoustic specification throughout the installation. The glass doors allow natural light and visibility to be retained while providing a professional entrance to each office.
