In Out Solutions was contacted by a returning client to install a glass office divider in Nottingham at their premises in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. For this project, we supplied and installed a single glazed glass partition with a frosted band, creating a division within the office while allowing natural light to pass through. The installation did not include a door.
Installation of a Frameless Glass Partition
The project involved supplying and installing a single glass partition measuring approximately 3 metres wide and 2.1 metres high. The partition was made using 10mm clear toughened glass, with black RAL 9005 aluminium framing.
The main features of the installation included:
-
10mm clear toughened glass, approximately 3m wide and 2.1m high.
-
Black RAL 9005 aluminium frames.
-
A 1200mm-high frosted manifestation band.
-
DDA-compliant glass manifestation.
-
Non-fire-rated specification.
-
No door included.
The frosted band provides a level of visual privacy and makes the glass more noticeable, while the clear glazing helps maintain an open feel within the office.

Glass Office Divider in Nottingham
Glass office partitions are a practical way to divide workplaces without blocking out natural light. They can help create separate working areas while keeping the office bright and maintaining a modern appearance.
At In Out Solutions, we supply and install glass partition systems for commercial and residential properties. Each installation can be designed around the available space and the client’s requirements, with different frame finishes and glass options available.
Frosted Bands and Privacy Film for Glass Partitions
Frosted manifestation can be applied to glass partitions to make the glazing more visible and provide some visual screening. It is particularly useful in offices where people need to recognise glass walls while still benefiting from natural light.
Privacy film is another option for internal glass partitions and doors. Available in frosted and patterned finishes, it can help limit visibility through the glass without completely closing off the space.
For businesses in Mansfield and across Nottinghamshire, glass partitions with frosted bands offer a simple way to divide office areas while maintaining a clean, professional finish.
